Simalainge Engineering Indonesia Ltd, a construction company in Mentawai and Padang, West Sumatra, was entrusted with designing and renovating the interior of the Hall of the Faculty of Languages and Arts (FBS).

Universitas Negeri Padang (UNP) is one of the leading faculties at Universitas Negeri Padang focused on the development of language, literature, art, and design studies. Located at the Air Tawar Main Campus in Padang, FBS offers academic programs ranging from Diploma (D3) and Bachelor's (S1) to Master's (S2) and Doctoral (S3) degrees.
